Opened in 1938, Jernvallen is a multi-purpose stadium in Sandviken, Sweden. To date it has a record attendance of 20,000, gained during the 1958 World Cup, but now holds a maximum of 7,000 fans. It also able to boast as being the most northerly stadium to host World Cup fixtures.

Jernvallen hosted three matches in World Cup 1958. These games were both Group 3 ties, involving Wales, Hungary and Mexico.
