Estadio La Romareda

Home to local team, Real Zaragoza, Estadio La Romareda is located in Zaragoza. Built in 1957, it has undergone a number of upgrades, including one in 1982 that ensured it was ready for the FIFA World Cup finals. As wells as the World Cup, the stadium has been used to help host the 1992 Summer Olympics and Michael Jackson performed there, in 2006, as part of his HIStory World Tour.

Estadio La Romareda hosted three matches in the FIFA World Cup 1982 finals. All three games were Group 6 first round ties, involving Northern Ireland, Honduras and Yugoslavia.
