The Stade de la Mosson is a football stadium in Montpellier, France. It is home ground to local team Montpellier HSC. As well as football it hosts rugby matches. These include international ties, including group stage matches in the 2007 Rugby World Cup. Built in 1972, the venue was renovated in 1997, ahead of World Cup 1998.

The stadium was selected to host six World Cup 1998 matches. Five of these games were group matches, including Italy v Cameroon. The other was a round of 16 play-off between Germany and Mexico, the Germans winning 2 - 1.

Construction: The stadium opened in 1972 and was renovated in 1997.
