Royal Bafokeng Stadium

Also known as the Royal Bafokeng Sports Palace, the Royal Bafokeng Stadium is the home stadium for Premier Soccer League club Platinum Stars. It is also used to host rugby and athletics events.

FIFA used the the Royal Bafokeng Stadium to help host World Cup 2010. It hosted six fixtures, five group matches and the second stage (last 16) match between th USA and Ghana.

Construction: The stadium opened in 2009 and was later renovated in 2009, upgrading it to World Cup standard.
