The Mineirão, Stadium, built in 1965, is officially called the Estádio Governador Magalhães Pinto (Governor Magalhães Pinto Stadium). It is located in Belo Horizonte and is one of the largest stadiums in Brazil. Seven World Cup 2014 matches were played at the Mineirão, Stadium, including the shocking 7 - 1 defeat of the hosts by Germany.

Construction: Renovation was completed well ahead of the Worrld Cup, in December 2012.

Matches: Colombia 3 : 0 Greece (June 14), Belgium 2 : 1 Algeria (June 17), Argentina 1 : 0 Iran (June 21), Costa Rica 0 : 0 England (June 24), Brazil 1 : 1 Chile [Brazil won 3 :2 on penalties] (June 28) and semi-final Brazil 1 : 7 Germany (July 8).
